Faculty donates VacStation for restorative dental work to the School of Dental Sciences

Challenges of COVID-19 have led to uptake of new technologies to clean up the air around operating dental clinics.

Consequently, Dr. Benjamin Simiyu, faculty member in the Department of Conservative and Prosthetic Dentistry presented a donation of one VacStation to the School of Dental Sciences on July 6, 2020.

This machine was a donation from Eighteeth, Sifary Medical Technology Company Limited, China.

The machine will go a long way in improving the efficiency of removing droplets and aerosols from working spaces within the Restorative Clinic at the School.
