COMMENCEMENT AND RESUMPTION DATES (2021/2022 Academic Calendar)

The University of Nairobi wishes to inform the following groups of students (Module I and Module II) that the commencement and resumption dates for the 2021/2022 Academic Year are as follows:

 

1. MONDAY, 20TH.SEPTEMBER 2021- FIRST SEMESTER 

A. Year I (FRESHERS) of the following Faculties:

FACULTY OF ARTS (FoA) 

First Years' Online Registration, Orientation, and Learning 2020

The Academic Year 2020/2021 will commence on Monday 31 August 2020 and the first thing you need is your letter of Admission.  If you do not have your letter of admission, please write an email to admissions@uonbi.ac.ke with details of your name, programme to which you have been admitted to and KCSE Index Number..

Orientation, registration, classes and examination will all be exclusively be conducted online via various virtual platforms.

School of Dental Sciences conducts training on infection prevention and control in Covid-19 era in dental setting

The School of Dental Sciences conducted training for all its staff on upgrading of Infection Prevention and Control in the COVID-19 in Dental settings.

Both Dental Faculty, nursing staff, support and administrative staff underwent an intensive training, requiring them to develop revised Standard Operating Procedures suitable for immediate application in the various offices, clinics and laboratories.

Challenges of COVID-19 have led to uptake of new technologies to clean up the air around operating dental clinics.

Consequently, Dr. Benjamin Simiyu, faculty member in the Department of Conservative and Prosthetic Dentistry presented a donation of one VacStation to the School of Dental Sciences on July 6, 2020.
