The School of Dental Sciences of the University of Nairobi is celebrating it's 50th anniversary since its establishment with the inaugural Nairobi International Oral Health Conference slated for 28th to 31st August, 2024.

The University of Nairobi Dental School on the 14th of October 2023 celebrated 50 years of existence.
Since being founded in 1974 the school has graduated at least 20 students each year. It prides itself on having the highest number of alumni dentists practising around the country.
The celebrations were attended by The Director General of Health Dr. Patrick Amoth, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nairobi, the Deputy Vice Chair in charge of Academic Affairs(DVC-AA), the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, other members of staff and the general public.
