Dr. Benjamin Simiyu donates new dental equipment for endodontics

The Bachelor of Dental Surgery 4th year Students on 23rd September 2022 received a donation of new dental equipment for endodontics; apex locator and endodontics motor from Dr. Benjamin Simiyu  who is a lecturer in endodontics. The Head of Department Dr. Walter Odhiambo accompanied the students during the presentation and expressed appreciation on behalf of the school of Dental sciences.

 

Prof. Symon W. Guthua donates a brand new LCD projector

Prof. Symon W. Guthua donates a brand new state of the art LCD projector to the Dental School to be used for teaching. The School of Dental Sciences has commended the kind gesture of Professor Symon Guthua. This is most appreciating coming at a time when like the rest of the University, the Dental School is cash strained and experiencing challenges to deliver on our mandate. We urge other staff members to emulate Professor by giving whatever little support to our School.

VISIT BY THE TEMPLE UNIVERSITY KORNBERG SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY FACULTY TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI DENTAL SCHOOL

Two Professors from the Kornberg School Of Dentistry, Temple University in Philadelphia, USA paid a visit to the Dental School as part of their mission to explore areas of collaboration and partnership between the two dental schools. Prof. Amid Ismail who is the Dean of Kornberg University was accompanied by his colleague an Associate Dean Prof. Mustafa Badi.

Vice Chancellor commissions Dr. Hudson Alumera Memorial Consultant Clinic

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama paid a visit to the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The two-day visit commenced on Monday 31st January at the Department of Dental Sciences housed at the University Dental Hospital along Argwings Kodhek Road.

During the visit, the Vice Chancellor launched a new consultant clinic installed with surgery equipment worth one million shillings, funded by the BDS 2006 alumni and contributions from academic staff members.

CLEARANCE OF FEES AND ORDER OF NAMES:

Only those who will have completed paying the fees due to the University will be allowed to graduate.  ALL graduands are advised to confirm the order of their name with their respective Deans.

GRADUATION/CONVOCATION FEE

Each graduand will be required to obtain a clearance certificate from the relevant Faculty Registrar upon clearance with the respective Departments, Library, Halls of Residence, Games, and Finance Department.

65TH GRADUATION CEREMONY – FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2021
